Tous les yeux étaient rivés sur le fameux collier de Kate Middleton aux funérailles de la reine, voici pourquoi

Kate Middleton était majestueuse lors des funérailles de la reine Élisabeth II, lundi dernier.

Malgré son large chapeau, sa voilette noire et sa magnifique robe-veston signée Alexander McQueen, c'est le collier de la princesse de Galles qui a attiré tous les regards. 

Il s'agit d'un bijou de type choker en perles à quatre rangs serti d'un fermoir en diamants. Ce collier appartenait à la reine Élisabeth II et a précédemment été porté par la princesse Diana. Il a donc une grande valeur sentimentale pour Kate Middleton.

La princesse de Galles a porté ce prestigieux bijou pour la toute première fois en 2017. C'était à l'occasion du 70e anniversaire de mariage la reine Élisabeth et du prince Philip. 

Kate Middleton avait de nouveau porté le collier, prêté à long terme, aux funérailles de ce dernier en 2021.

Pour la petite histoire. le bijou avait été offert du Japon à la reine Élisabeth II dans les années 70. Elle a souvent été photographiée avec ce quadruple collier de perles au large diamants.

La princesse Charlotte rend elle aussi hommage à la reine Élisabeth II

Tout comme sa mère, la jeune princesse Charlotte a rendu hommage à la reine Élisabeth II en portant un bijou très spécial lors de ses funérailles.

La petite fille de 7 ans, toute de noir vêtue, arborait une broche de diamants en forme de fer à cheval. Il s'agit d'une référence au grand amour des chevaux de son arrière-grand-mère.

Une source a affirmé à Entertainment Tonight que c'est la reine Élisabeth II qui en avait fait cadeau à la princesse Charlotte.
